WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Kzarvani Foundation (formerly known as ABS) is a non-profit organization committed to the holistic development of children, particularly those from marginalized communities. Founded by a group of passionate young students who have since pursued diverse professional careers, the foundation emerged from a shared concern for the challenges faced by children in underserved areas. We began this journey during our college days, driven by the urgent need to address the plight of these children, and since then, we have dedicated ourselves to creating lasting change.
Our primary focus is to provide quality education in all spheres to children in rural areas, ensuring that financial difficulties do not prevent them from continuing their education. In addition to this, we place a special emphasis on preserving and promoting India’s rich cultural heritage, particularly traditional dance, art, and music forms. We actively support and offer scholarships to children pursuing these art forms, helping them reach their full potential and empowering them to become professionals in these fields.
Recognizing the importance of digital literacy in today’s world, we also integrate technology into our programs. We aim to equip children with the digital skills necessary to succeed in an increasingly connected world, ensuring they have access to the tools and resources needed for academic and professional advancement.
Kzarvani Foundation was established on January 23, 2014, in Kolkata, and officially became a registered non-profit on November 23, 2020. Through our initiatives, we strive to bridge gaps in education, empower the youth, and preserve the rich cultural legacy of India for future generations.

Since 2014, our organization has been working towards transforming education and livelihoods in rural India. Recognizing the digital divide that the pandemic has deepened between rural and urban communities, we are now planning to establish Community Academies in various villages. These academies will serve as learning hubs, ensuring that children have access to quality education, digital literacy, and essential numeracy skills—critical tools for their future.
We have carefully selected villages with the vision of making them ‘100% school-going villages’, adopting them as model communities where every child steps into a classroom instead of a workplace.
Beyond education, we are also committed to creating self-sustaining income models in rural areas. By empowering communities with economic stability, we aim to reduce poverty, ensuring that parents no longer feel compelled to send their children to work at a young age. This initiative is a crucial step toward enhancing literacy rates, strengthening numeracy skills, and combating child labor, paving the way for a future where every child learns, grows, and thrives.
OBJECTIVES

To make an opportunity to bring in marginalised youth and children into the mainstream of our society: Focusing primarily on the education of children, we believe there could be other career options - providing financial assistance and training in the fields that could help them make a better living. These areas maybe various forms of fine arts, sports, other skill development programs of course along with academics.
