"Annual Program"

The Annual Program is generally staged anytime between mid-September to mid-October.

Started in 2017, Kzarvani aims to recognize the talents that goes un-noticed from the under-privileged section of the society, the real heroes of the society who work tirelessly and selflessly to bring a change in the society through their work and various Awards are distributed on this day followed by a brief cultural program performed by the kids Kzarvani sponsors.

Kzarvani will host it's fourth Annual Program on the 5th of October, 2024 to celebrate its 10th Year Anniversary.

A glimpse of our previous years Annual Programs

2019

2nd October, 2019

 

Kzarvani hosted it's third Annual Program at Laban Hrad Mancha, Salt Lake on the 2nd of October, 2019. In an interactive and fun-filled inspirational evening with the kids, individuals excelling in various fields got recognized for their talent and effort.

Scholarships and Awards

55 meritorious children were recognized and were provided financial support in a total of 24 scholarships ranging from Education, Singing, Dancing, Sports, Art etc. under its different wings.

Children who got benefited were mostly part of our in-house supervision (directly by our members) and the rest were part of other collaborative social groups such as 'Charon Dol', 'Muktakash', 'Kotha 'o' Kahini' and 'Prayasam'. 

Smt. Kanchan Das from Labhpur received the 'ABS Silent Crusader' Award.

Smile Please - a social welfare society from Barasat, West Bengal received the ABS Young Brigade Award.

Cultural

Highlights of the event included a special dance performance 'by Khairi Mahajan Shishu Chhau Dol' from Purulia, whom ABS has been constantly supporting and monitoring for the last 3 years, to ensure that this ever fading indigenous art form is not lost.

Other notable performances include - Baul Songs by the kids from Labhpur, Birbhum; Dance performance by the kids of Muktakash and Prayasam and also a lively recitation exhibition by the kids of Kotha 'o' Kahini.

Guest

The program was attended by some eminent personalities from different fields of work. Sri Anik Dutta - renowned Bengali film director; Sri Dhrubajyoti De - IPS Officer, DC - HQ Barrackpore Police Commissionerate and Sri Amalendu Ghosh - Retired IAS, Secretary of Loka Kalyan Parisad, presided over the event..
